Abuse of prescription drugs can deteriorate a body and mind quickly before abusers realize what is
happening.
People get addicted to easily obtained prescription drugs leading towards harm to bodily functions.
People like Robert Rambo, who has been addicted to Opioids, find themselves deteriorating from the inside
out.
"It was a prescription made out to me. I abused it because of the pain I kept feeling and now, I'm in more
pain from what the pills are doing to me inside,"said Rambo.
Rambo now suffers from a failing liver, deteriorating spinal column, failed gall bladder and cases of
Septicemia.
The years of prescription drugs has caused Rambo's body to become dependent, once his body was cut off
from the constant stream of drugs functions began to fail.
Young adults that are becoming addicted to prescription drugs are causing harm to their still growing bodies.
They are becoming dependent on the drugs and are hurting their chances for healthy body functions.

People like Robert Rambo, 52, never has had a drug problem in his younger years but has developed one
over the past few years.
Rambo has done hard labor for years as a career and it has taken its toll on his body causing him to be in
constant severe pain.
"I started with painkillers, like Codeine. I was just in so much pain my doctor subscribed me something to
help get me through the work day...I didn't know how out of hand they could get," said Rambo.
Rambo began ingesting more and more pills each day as the prescription drugs began to have less an effect
on his body. He didn't realize how addictive his behavior was becoming with the intake of alcohol on top of
the pills.
